Ramires Moly

So here is the image. I was following Ramires Bubble idea and try to make something that looks like a dream.. or irreal. I worked with colour pencils and sepia pitt pen in order give continuety to Ramires drawing. I also extended a litte to the right and left page to make the transition smoother.. I will try to send it to Danica as soon a possible (probably tomorrow morning) the address is the same, isn't it Danica?

Just finished Ramires Moly

Hi Í just finished today Ramires Moly..I usually don´t work so fast , but I had this idea for a long time. I even made some sketches before becomming the Moli (then I lost the sketches ) Anyway I had a clear idea what I wanted to do. Plus I was inform today that I have to travel to Abu Dhabi to work there for 2 months.. I have to leave next week. so I worked quite fast and fineshed the Moly cause I want to send the MolY to Danica before leaving Catania. So I going to havea new address for the next two months. I hope it is not a problem in order to be still part of the MolY group. the only thing is that u should ask me first before sending the next Moly to Abu Dhabi cause I´m going to be there for just 2 months. (I think a package should arive in 3 weeks . the post service is more secure than in Italy). I will scan the Molly tomorrow from my office, I guess everybody want to see it.
Ah Ramires.. should I write my name somewhere?

Ramires Molly just arrived

Just a short notice to tell everybody that Ramires Molly just arrive to Italy.. I already have an idea. (I did some sketch before.. but I can find it anymore) Not sure about the tecnic yet.. but will like to follow the dreamy cloud somehow)

Heidi's Moly - finally finished

I'd done Heidi's portait ages ago and sketched out what I wanted for mine a while back as well, and after Omar's call for updates I broke out the pens today. This is the result:


In her flickrsteam, Heidi has some photos of her in front of this giant mirrorball thing that I think looks awesome. My drawing does it no justice but that's what I was going for.

I'm not really pleased with the gray tones (I should have done an ink wash instead of using cheap Pitt pens) but oh well. It's done and headed to Ramires tomorrow.

Hi , people I´m still waiting for the next moli to arrive.. in the meantime would be nice that the ones that are working share how work is going.. even if is just an sketch... or things that would inspire you. Or things you would like to try...

When I do portraits i like to know the person I am portraying. I would be a little easier for me when I got your moli if I know something more about you... I know that many from us have a blog/ flickr etc, but the point of this blog is to share this molly experience, so lets use it that way.

For my part let me say that I m available for some picture request if you don´t like the ones I put on my flickr profil or Moly (for flickr ask me to add you as a friend in order you can see the folder). if you got something in mind , a certain particular pose.....u know it could be a little boring just to do passport fotos from me. :-)

Omar's Moly ready to go

I just finished Omar's Moly and it will be off to Suzzete soon. I decided for the combination of B&W and matching colors with the previous post from Omar. Hope you enjoy it ;) Happy drawing everyone.

I got Omar's Moly few days ago and i couldn't wait to start drawing. I've got this silly idea with bubbles when i saw one of his photos, sorry Omar :) I promise it will look better in the end :P

tuesday I just sent my Molly to Danica,
Sorry I 'm a terrible case of procastination...
I finish things quickly but then I get stuck in something easy like bringing to the post...
the italian post sytem didn't help either... they got this very unconfortable opening hours.. exactly on the time when I have to be working... and to post something it takes at least 2 hours to wait on the line. (I sent with the certificate post I wanted to be sure it arrive)
anyway Moly is on the way...
I'm now Molyless waiting for the one from Ramires to arrive...

Ok, I finally finished... It took more than I expected since I had made a mistake and drew my portrait in the pages 3 and 4.. so I had to find a way to fill the space.. so in page 1 is the space to write the name of the members of this exchange.... the second I wrote the header.. not very happy with the result...But I think everybody can add a few words there.. considere it a space for creativity... I draw my portrait with my city in the background...
So I 'm ready to send my Moleskine to...Danica!!!
So and now I get confronted with a few questions, where I find Danicas address... and second my pictures.... what is better to add some photos in the Moleskine or put in Flickr online?

New Header

Our new header shows a detail of the art of each one here, I added a detail of the picture sent by Dana to compose a new label for us. I love this sign of peace and love and I think it express the Moly_X spirit .

I hope no one wants to know how long I've had this journal! Too long!
Can anyone tell me who I'm supposed to send it on to now? And the address, too? I've been out of the loop but am ready to get it going again.
